JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Business Analyst is responsible for managing initiatives by collaborating closely with internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate acts as a bridge between business problems and technology solutions to drive efficiencies and better decision support. You will analyze data to provide trends and visibility to processes that can be enhanced as this is a key role that impacts the growth of the business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Gather requirements and define stakeholder needs for business process development and improvement – taking the time to understand the why behind it.
  • Research, review, analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes by developing strategies for continuous improvement – let us know what we can do better
  • Translate changes into tangible requirements in small to medium project initiatives and assess product and client impact across all channels
  • Work closely with subject matter experts, project team members and management across various departments to plan and implement process improvements – do whatever your team needs to help them keep moving
  • Act as a change agent or subject matter expert for new business processes by doing what it takes to educate business units on the new processes – be the champion of change
  • Actively assess risks, provide mitigation plan and escalate issues to management – see something broken? Fix it!
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field
  • 3 years of forward-thinking experience, leading process improvement projects with strong project management skills
  • You are outcome-focused, a critical thinker with the ability to analyze and visualize, to ensure continuous improvement across our entire business
  • Collaborative team players with superior influencing skills, who quickly build relationships easily across business professionals at all levels to move initiatives forward
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail – you are comfortable with data and balance it with user insights
  • Ability to work independently/collaboratively to handle multiple projects and priorities
