Calling all video experts and vloggers who have a love for social media and technology! The Videographer/Video editor at PSI is an integral role within our Creative and Marketing departments as the sole and subject matter expert related to videography and editing. You will be responsible of all planning, shooting and editing of videos such as product reviews, product promos, vlogs, international expo highlights, company videos and more. Video content will be used on YouTube, social media (Facebook/Instagram) and websites.

This is an on-site position in our Markham headquarters for a 6-month contract with high potential for permanent full-time employment upon successful completion.
  • Direct, film and edit various shoots from conceptualization to final product.
  • Source locations and assets/casting for shoots.
  • Input music, dialogues, transitions, graphics and effects.
  • Color correct and stabilize footage.
  • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies.
  • Format videos for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Websites.
  • Execute shoots on-site and off-site.
  • May require occasional international travel to shoot trade shows.
  • Other work assigned by manager.
  • 2+ years’ experience as a videographer and video editor.
  • Online portfolio or links to previous work.
  • Thorough knowledge of Mirrorless/DSLR cameras, lenses, gimbles, lighting and audio recording.
  • Experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects and/or other editing software.
  • Demonstrated experience with post production princples such as editing, transitions, video stabilization, color correction, filters/LUTS and audio balancing.
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute projects with minimal guidance.
  • Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.
  • Photography is a great asset.
  • Motion graphics and special effects is a great asset.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for off-site shoots is a great asset.
  • Willingness to be in front of the camera for vlogs is a great asset.
  • Experience with social media is an asset.
  • Experience with drones is an asset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment with many competing priorities.
  • High attention to detail and accountability in analytical assessments, but with the aptitude to maintain a big picture perspective.
