Multi-year Accessibility objectives
Our multi-year accessibility plan outlines actions to remove barriers to accessibility and ensure compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). The following is a summary of our plan which is to be completed between 2024 and 2026.
2024 - 2026 Plan:
- Continue to provide training for all existing and new employees in Ontario on the Customer Service Standard, Integrated Accessibility Standard (IAS), and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
- Streamline resource offerings for accommodations, best practices, and training to continue identifying and removing barriers across the employment process.
- Revise and improve the internal Accessibility Standards pertinent to local legislation.
- Continue to monitor our digital platforms to establish web experiences that meet and exceed benchmark standards.
- Provide training for all existing and new employees in Ontario on the Customer Service Standard, Integrated Accessibility Standard (IAS), and the Ontario Human Rights Code
- Continue to foster inclusive meetings and events to empower internal engagement, and external accessibility.
- Continue to leverage our existing feedback tools alias on accessibility recommendations and improvements.
